This week across the U.S. we join to celebrate the hard working professionals we rely on for our health and well-being: nurses. At WGU Texas, our College of Health Professions provides state-of-the-art training and instruction to our nursing students working on the BSN and MSN degrees. Our students and graduates demonstrate a dedication that ensures we can all enjoy optimum patient care when needed.
In preparation for National Nurses Week (May 6 – 12th) WGU Texas is pleased to announce our second year of offering the Go Further in Nursing Scholarship. Like last year, we will award five $500 scholarships during Nurses Week to motivated registered nurses who are ready to begin the rewarding challenge of earning a graduate or undergraduate nursing degree in any of seven programs with WGU Texas.

National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6 through May 12, and we want to recognize these courageous and caring professionals and celebrate our students who are choosing this path to protect patient welfare and promote a healthier Texas.
