L. E. Simmons

L.E. Simmons is the founder and President of SCF Partners, a private equity firm managing a portfolio of energy service companies. Based in Houston, Texas, the firm also has international offices in Canada and Scotland. Over the past 22 years, SCF has been involved in over 200 acquisitions and the creation of over twelve public companies. Prior to founding SCF, Mr. Simmons co-founded Simmons & Company International, the world's leading investment banking firm to oilfield service companies. Mr. Simmons is a Director at United Airlines, Zions Bancorporation and also serves on the boards of Rice University, Texas Children’s Hospital and the North American Advisory Council of London School of Economics. He is the former Chairman of The Houston Endowment and served on the Visiting Committee of Harvard Business School for twelve years. Mr. Simmons received the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship in 2011 and is serving as a National Finance Chair for the Romney for President Campaign.
